What is The Wish List?
The Wish List is a free online service for wishlists: you create a list with links from any shop and share it by link or QR code once you’ve confirmed your email address. Your guests see what’s still available and reserve it without signing up – so nothing is given twice.
No ads
No ads between your wishes and no paid tier.
No commission
Shop links stay exactly as they are – no affiliate tags.
Hosted in Germany
Your data sits on servers in Germany, and you can delete it at any time.
For every occasion
From birthdays to weddings: every occasion has its own page – and passes its name straight on to your new list.
All occasionsCommon questions about the wishlist
How do I create a wishlist?
Type in a name for the list and your email address – the list is there right away, no password. Then add wishes as text or as a product link. You can share it as soon as you’ve confirmed your address with one click in the email.
Do my guests need an account or an app?
No. Anyone with the link opens the list in their browser and reserves with one tap – no sign-in, and without a name if they’d rather.
Which shops can I add wishes from?
Any of them. Paste the link to a product page, and name, image and price are taken over wherever the page provides them. A wish without a link works just as well.
How does the wishlist prevent duplicate gifts?
Whoever wants to give something reserves the wish on the list. Everyone else then sees it as reserved and picks something else. If two guests tap at the same moment, one of them gets it and the other is told right away.
Does it stay secret who gives what?
From the other guests, yes: they only see that a wish is reserved, never by whom. You also just see “reserved” in the list; if someone left a name when reserving, it’s shown on the single wish.
Your list is ready right away – and nothing gets given twice.
An independent side project run by one person – no investors, no selling of data. Free, and it will stay that way.
