The Wish List · try it out

Three steps, no preparation

  1. Create wishlist

Type in your email address, and the list is there right away – no waiting for an email. The name “Our anniversary wishes” is already filled in, and you can change it anytime.

  2. Collect wishes

Copy the link from the store and paste it. Name, image and price are added on their own. On your phone, you can also do this right from “Share”.

  3. Share the link

Send the link to everyone, by message or as a QR code. Whatever someone reserves is off the list for the others. They don’t see who it was.

What fits on a list like this

Just a few ideas. Add them with a store link or simply as text.

  • A night in a hotel
  • Dinner at your favorite restaurant
  • Photo book of the last few years
  • Two theater tickets
  • A cooking class for two
  • New bedding

The wedding anniversary is the occasion when nothing comes to mind, year after year – usually the day before. A wishlist you add to all year long, whenever something catches your eye, solves that without any effort. And if you throw a bigger celebration, the family can see in it what would truly make you happy.

Common questions: Wedding anniversary

What are the traditional gifts for each anniversary year?
It starts with paper for the 1st year, cotton for the 2nd, leather for the 3rd and wood for the 5th. Later milestones are tin (10th), crystal (15th), china (20th), silver (25th), pearl (30th), ruby (40th), gold (50th) and diamond (60th). A “modern” list offers alternatives.
Does the gift have to match the year’s theme?
No. The theme is a playful guide, not a rule, and a small nod to it is plenty – a handwritten letter for paper, a leather bookmark tucked into a travel guide. What matters more is that the gift fits the couple.
Do guests bring a gift to an anniversary party?
It isn’t expected, and a heartfelt card is always enough. Guests who do give often spend $25 to $50, and gifts are more common at the 25th and 50th. If the couple shares a list, it shows what would still make them happy.
What do spouses spend on anniversary gifts for each other?
There’s no rule. Many couples settle on a shared budget, often somewhere around $50 to $150, and some skip gifts entirely in favor of a dinner or a trip together. Agreeing on a range ahead of time avoids a lopsided exchange.
Can I keep the list for both of us?

Yes. Sign in with the same email address, and you both see the same list.

Is it worth it if we’re not celebrating?

As a place to collect ideas, yes: what you notice in May, you’ll have forgotten by October.

Can I keep the list secret?

Yes. As long as you don’t share the link, nobody sees it.

Can guests see who reserved what?

No.

What does the wishlist cost?

Nothing.
